Practical learning
Our courses and teaching methodology effectively attempts to address the two most important areas for success in a career:
Attitude: This involves aspects of personality, communication, integrity, teamwork, leadership and a high work ethic. We believe that this is a vital ingredient for any kind of work and is a primary requirement for success and contributing value.
Skills: The particular IT skills are taught with a practical work scenario in mind. Thus most of our courses (depending on the size) integrate appropriate modules like understanding requirements, importance of documentation, popular software/IT processes, nature of IT teams, constraints of budgets and overall structure of projects.

Instruction

Instructors
Our instructors are well trained in our methodology and the particular area of IT learning. They usually have industry experience and make the learning practical and oriented towards a real work situation.

Classroom Instruction

• We focus heavily on the use of teaching aids like audio-video, practical exercises and experts.
• We do not follow a traditional book learning, linear approach to IT learning andand believe that IT is learnt better through using live software, video and the Internet
• Our course content includes numerous live examples, videos, hyperlinks to websites, blogs etc

Practical Instruction

• Our examples, assignments and projects reflect the kind of skills that are used in the industry.
• Very often we will try to involve our students in live projects, though we cannot guarantee this as client projects cannot be affected adversely
• From time to time we will have experts from the industry and Pinna come and interact with students to give them an insight into real work situations and career prospects.

Employability

• Our emphasis on attitude is to enhance students chances of employment and success
• As a part of our training in soft skills we help our students with interview skills and resume writing to maximize their chances of employability
• We constantly contact organizations including corporates, NGO's, SMB's and educational institutions to help in the placement of our students.

Screening

We follow an exhaustive screening process to select our students and advise them on a suitable technology stream according to their abilities and interests. This process involves a written test and interview followed by counseling sessions.
